If you stay there, you'll be met by an ever-friendly and helpful staff, given an immaculately clean and comfortable room, and find yourself treated to a sizzling English breakfast each morning. Can't say enough wonderful things.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Mitre House Hotel. The location is absolutely ideal--about a block from Paddington Station, making transportation to major sites easily accessible. The area is safe with multiple restaurants around, an easy walk to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. The rooms are comfortable, clean and quite serviceable. The staff are courteous and welcoming, more like coming home than to a hotel.
It is a family-owned business, and the owner takes a great deal of pride in ensuring a great experience for customers, which is a rarity in our modern travel experience. English breakfast is included, and it is GOOD!

We enjoyed our two nights at the Mitre House hotel. It was such a good location, really about an 8-minute walk from Paddington Station. Restaurants are close by, very walkable or connect with the Hop On Hop Off bus just three blocks away. The staff were very helpful, we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, and the servers were excellent. Coffee and hot tea were available at the small bar anytime. We enjoyed visiting with other guests in the “living room” area. One gentleman shared his musical talent with us by playing beautifully on the piano one evening. Great time!
