How Close is Mitre House Hotel to Paddington Station?

Very close indeed. Easier than pie, frankly — although admittedly eating pie is probably easier than making it.
Mitre House Hotel is approximately a five-minute walk from Paddington Station.

Guests arriving via the Elizabeth Line, Heathrow Express or National Rail platforms 12–16 should follow signs towards the Eastbourne Terrace exit. Walk up towards Praed Street, cross onto Spring Street and turn left at the top. You’ll find Mitre House Hotel right in the middle of the block.

Alternatively, guests exiting near Platform 1 onto Praed Street can cross the road, follow London Street to the top and turn right towards Talbot Square, where the hotel is located.

Finding a hotel near Paddington Station with parking can be surprisingly difficult. Fortunately, all guests staying at Mitre House Hotel are welcome to use our on-site car park free of charge for the duration of their stay, including both the day of arrival and the day of departure.

We have 18 parking spaces available, which operate on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not reserve spaces. However, due to traffic restrictions within central London, our car park is rarely at full capacity. Weekends are generally quieter than weekdays, making it even more likely that a space will be available.

Please note that vehicles over 2.2 metres high or 5 metres long cannot be accommodated in the hotel car park.

If you are driving into London, we also recommend checking the Transport for London website at TFL.gov.uk before travelling for the latest information on Congestion Charge and ULEZ requirements. Mitre House Hotel is located outside the Congestion Charge Zone, although the zone begins nearby around Edgware Road and Park Lane.
